Getting Past the
Password!
Here's What You Need to Do

You will need the user name and password to reach this section.

If you are a teacher and need to register your class, click here. Registration is FREE. We only require the passwords to protect students.

Your authorization window will probably look a little bit different than this picture, but it will have the same information.

Enter your user name in box that says "User Name." Your user name will be

• "student" for students (of course)
• "teacher" for teachers
• in all lowercase letters!

Next, enter your password in the second box. No hints on this one--you have to know the password to get in.

If you have any trouble, ask your teacher for help. (If you are a teacher and need assistance, send e-mail to rschildmeyer@kgan.com or call 319-395-9060 ext.328for help.)

First, consider whether you are supposed to be looking at an area.

• Only teachers can reach the answer keys & Teachers' Forum
• Only teachers can open up the "hit or miss" section of the hurricane lesson

• Some student areas are protected by the "student" user name and password. These areas include the Students' Forum and the Town Hall. Only registered WeatherEye students can access these areas.

Remember--WeatherEye is FREE! The registration is only to protect students.
